Does this make me a mean mom??

Dallin was being such a fuss-bucket the other day, and I was kind of reaching my wit's end with it, so, I decided to draw a mustache on his face.
I really couldn't help myself.

Somehow after that it was harder to get frustrated with him.

We have been getting used to having Cory around all the time now that school is out. The first week was filled with competition/rivalry, but things are returning to normal, and they're back to being best of buds and enjoying eachothers company.

They do everything together. Check out this video, they had no idea I was recording this through the kitchen window.

And here is Cory getting off the bus his last day of kindergarten. Yay, Cory!!! We're so proud of all your hard work, and all that you've accomplished this year! I love you, bud!!

I have had some questions about Cory having an IEP and doing OT next year. I met with the school about a week before school got out and had some questions answered. We now have a 504 plan in place. This is similar to an IEP, but just doesn't involve as much. This will help him get the extra help he needs, things like a special pencil grip and having his own desk away from other students, as well as a desk with the students so he can move back and forth as he needs. As for OT, since he does not have an IEP, OT can't take him out of class, but they will observe him in class and work with both him and his teacher to help him with writing. If this does not help as much as we need, then we will consider doing an IEP.

If you get a chance can you e-mail me with more info about the IEP and the OT? My daughter just got diagonosed with Aspergers and we are still struggling to figure everything out. We want to get everything in place before school starts up again. Can you give me some advice?? John should have my e-mail if you need it.
