We did our Easter shopping the night before Easter, and WalMart was so picked over, so we didn't get official "Easter baskets", but the kids didn't seem to mind the diaper bags and pillow cases.
Dallin had a lot of fun just picking up the eggs and putting them in his "basket", he didn't even realize there was candy inside, but once he did - whoo hoo hoo - he LIKED the egg concept.
I forgot to put the ham in before church, and so we ended up doing a BBQ, it turned out really yummy and low key, which was nice. Nana and Grandpa Tilton came over with Jacob for a little bit and dropped off some Easter cookies. Then Nanny and Grandpa Goates came over later in the day and played with the kiddos. Fun was had by all.
Nana Tilton's birthday was a few days later, so we had her over for dinner (along with Grandpa and Jacob, of course!) She had fun playing with the grandkids in the backyard and working with Cory kicking the soccer ball.
And here is my sweet little six year old who had just done his own hair for the first time. ha ha - I just had to get a picture, what a classic. He totally thought he was hott stuff!
